This course provides a transition for students from the structure of assigned projects to the more self-directed and research-based class. Through the development of a process book in a portfolio-building context, students work step-by-step through research, development, management and completion of a complex project while identifying strengths and weaknesses in their own body of work that will need to be addressed prior to or in the course of Senior Projects. This course is strongly encourged for second semester junior looking to prepare for a thesis-based senior project class their senior year.
