Daisuke Endo

Visiting Instructor

Daisuke received BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York. His student portfolio received awards from Art Director's Club, Type Director's Club and Graphis, and he earned his first job at Pentagram Design. 

At Pentagram Design, Daisuke had the opportunity to work with a variety of high-profile clients such as Amnesty International, Callaway Golf, Harley Davidson, Herman Miller, Neiman Marcus and TGI Friday's. While he was at Pentagram, he was selected as a New Visual Artists by Print Magazine.

Daisuke joined Flying Machine as Design Director in 2004. At Flying Machine, Daisuke helped numerous branding projects in traditional and emerging media.

Daisuke taught design courses at Pratt Institute in New York and at Musashino Art University in Japan. At Musashino Art University, Daisuke helped launching innovative design courses for both undergraduate and master level. 

His design works were published by numerous publications, such as Graphis, Print Magazine, Creative Review, Communication Arts, Art Director's Club Annual, Type Director's Club Annual and AIGA Design Annual.

Daisuke teaches Typography III and Typography IV.
