Inva Cota

Visiting Assistant Professor

Inva Çota is a graphic designer born in Pogradec, Albania and currently living in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University. She started her professional practice as an in-house graphic designer at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) focusing in all aspects of exhibition design. Other work experiences include Yale Art Gallery, Yale School of Architecture, FADER magazine, and artMRKT productions. 

Her work has been recognized from various magazines and organizations such as  #22 Graphic Magazine (2012), AIGA 365|Design Effectiveness (2011), TDC 56 Typographic Excellence (2010), and Print Magazine Regional Design Annual (2009).

Inva teaches Typography III and Typography IV.
