Ping Zhu is a Seattle-born, LA-raised, London-ripened, Brooklyn-based illustrator. She graduated from Art Center College of Design in 2010 and has since worked with the New York Times, New Yorker, GOOD Magazine, Heineken, Marriott, Coach, Wall Street Journal, GQ, The Independent, Pushkin Press, Instagram and others. She published her first book Swan Lake with Nobrow Press in 2012. In 2013 she was a Selected Artist for Somerset House's Pick Me Up Exhibition in London, and was also named a Young Gun by the Art Director's Club. Her work has been recognized by American Illustration and Communication Arts while also participating in shows in the US and abroad. She shares a studio in the Pencil Factory and has a shiba inu named Uma.
