Seymour Leichman

Cooper Union, Graphic designer, Agency art director (Maybelline & Michelob), illustrator, painter, muralist, author-illustrator of children's books. Leichman has enjoyed a richly varied professional career.
His work has been exhibited in New York, Houston, London and Paris. He has taught at Parsons and The Art Students League before joining the Pratt faculty.
He has received awards from the Art Directors Club of New York, American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Society of Illustrators and a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation (Office of Advanced Drama Research) for his play "Freddie the Pigeon".
