Victor Vina

Assistant Professor

Born in La Palma, Canary Islands, Victor has been working as a designer, reseracher and educator in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Both his research work and his pedagogical methodology investigate not only the applications, but also the implications of emergent technologies in diverse socio-cultural contexts. His practice spans interaction design, product and interface design, visual communication, architecture and digital fabrication. 

He enjoys developing projects of different nature such as interactive data visualizations, networked objects, light installations for public space, open frameworks for parametric design or diy environmental artefacts. He consults for Fortune 500 clients and start-ups on human-computer interaction, design thinking and service design.

He likes helping students to tell stories through design and technology.

Victor holds an MA in Computer Related Desing from the Royal College of Art, London. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Victor teaches Information Design, Visual Communication I, Visual Communication II and Web Design I.
